Are you a scientist passionate about equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in STEM? Join us for IDEAS Journal Club, a monthly gathering designed to foster discussion and broaden awareness of challenges in the scientific community.
November's IDEAS Journal Club will surround queer experiences in STEM based on excerpts from Queer individuals’ experiences in STEM learning and working environments by Marosi et al. Materials will be provided during the discussion, so pre-reading is not required.
At I.D.E.A.S. Journal Club, we provide a meal and a thought-provoking resource for discussion. This month, we will be providing soups and pastries for lunch! Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are especially encouraged to attend, but all are welcome, including faculty and undergraduate students! There will also be a draw for science-themed prizes at the end!
